Kathy Ann "Kat" Malone

Carlinville: Kathy Ann “Kat” Malone, 51, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at her residence. She was born on March 5, 1966, in Carlinville, the daughter of Donald Malone, Sr. and Karen (McGrew) Malone both of Carlinville. Survivors include three daughters: Kaila Marie Vatole whom she called Kaila - Marie, Krystal Lynn Vincent, Angela Nicole Vincent – Bollinger whom she called Angelo, two sons: Edward Robert Vincent whom she called Bubby, Christopher Ray Oatsvall whom she called Critter, five grandchildren: Chaise Whitlock, Paige Bell, Damon Vatole, Joshua Bollinger II, Cameron Oatsvall, three sisters: Marlo Geninatti, Wendy Nickell, Tess Whittaker who was her best friend, and one brother: Donald Malone, Jr. Kat was a one of a kind person. She loved her rock and roll, motorcycles, arts and crafts, books, watching movies and documentaries, camping, and hanging with her loved ones. She lost her battle with colon cancer and was taken from her family before her time. She fought hard and loved strong to the end. She will be greatly missed. Kat was a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and a devoted grandma to her five grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. No services will be held.
