Kathy R. Mccune

Kathy R. McCune, 69, passed away at 1:55pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 22, 1955, in Corbin, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James William and Iva Mae (Flick) Wilson. She married Robert W. McCune on June 16, 1973, in Phoenix, Arizona, and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter and son in law: Stacy and Mick Collins of Mount Vernon, Illinois, two sons and daughters in law: Michael and Christa McCune of Jefferson City, Missouri, Jeremy and Krisi McCune of Bethalto, her grandchildren: Lyndsie, Catelyn, Sierra, Lexi, Brooklyn, Joshua, Madison, a great grandson: Trenton, a sister: Gail, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Kathy worked in the rehabilitation field. She loved her cats, concerts, traveling, collecting and catalog shopping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Lewis Anthony McCune and a sister, Pam Norton.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
