Kay Stuttman, 79, passed away at 6:20pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 12, 1945, in McLeansboro, Illinois, the daughter of the late Cecil and Margaret (O’Dell) Storey. Survivors include two daughters and a son in law: Michelle and Roger Whitman of Chillicothe, Illinois, Debbie Mortland of Troy, Illinois, her grandchildren: Seth (Kayla) McGee, Cassie (Ryne Harrison) McGee, Caleb (Cory) Gibson, Patricia Gibson, Victoria Gibson, a sister and her wife: Beverly (Cari Hartnagel) Storey of Edwardsville, two brothers and sisters in law: Rick (Cathy) Storey of Moro, Rob (Diane) Storey of Rockford, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Kay was formerly employed in the Hatch Unit at Alton Memorial Hospital and later at Evergreen as the activities director. She then worked as a greeter at Sam’s Club. She was a former member of the East Alton Assembly of God and was recently attending New Hope in Edwardsville.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial visitation will be from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
