Linda Brandt

Alton:

Linda Brandt, 72, passed away at 11:59pm on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at her daughter’s house. She was born on January 20, 1951, in Pittsfield, Illinois, the daughter of the late Charles Robert and Nellie (Ragan) Stuller. She married Robert T. Brandt on June 17, 1989, in Alton, and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2022. Survivors include a son: Timothy Darr of Wood River, a daughter and son in law: Janis and Wesley Fish of Alton, two grandchildren: Brittney, Jessica, five great grandchildren: Daymon, Layne, Rainey, Amber, Autumn, two brothers and a sister in law: Jim and Meg Stuller of Troy, Illinois, Michael Stuller of Wood River, and many other extended family and friends.

Linda was formerly employed at Beverly Farms as a day training aide. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Alton. She loved playing the piano and enjoyed playing classical music. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved baking, cooking, and helping people.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son in law: Michael Kirk, great grandson: Christian, a grandson in law: David Gregory, one sister: Brenda Hyman, three brothers: Charles, Jr., David, and Alan.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rights will be accorded. Private celebration of life services will be held.
