Linda K. Davenport

South Roxana: Linda K. Davenport, 73, passed away at 12:17pm on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at her residence. She was born on September 25, 1947, in Alton, the daughter of the late Luin A. and Marjorie (Harrington) Potter. Survivors include a daughter: Tammy Davenport of South Roxana, two sisters and a brother in law: Sandy and Tom Heitzman of Bryan, Texas, Brenda Elledge of Bryan, Texas, three brothers and a sister in law: Luin Potter, Jr. of Plainville, Georgia, John and Debbie Potter of Wood River, Kenneth Potter of Bryan, Texas, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Linda was formerly employed as a care giver at Challenge Unlimited in Alton. She enjoyed going to the casino and gambling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Anthony Davenport and a sister: Lou Ann Lynch. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Riverbend.
