Linda M. Hill

Bethalto: Linda M. Hill, 68, passed away at 12:27am on Friday, May 15, 2020, at her residence. She was born on September 2, 1951, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Vernon and Mary (Collier) Michelmann. She married Gary L. Hill on September 5, 1969, and he survives. Other survivors include two sons and a daughter in law: Patrick and Tracey Hill of East Alton, Daniel Hill of Bethalto, a granddaughter: Bailey Hill of East Alton, three sisters and a brother in law: Verna and Gary Grim of St. Peters, Missouri, Judi Michelmann of Williston, North Dakota, Molly Wolfe of Wood River, two brothers: John Michelmann of Staunton, Leo Michelmann of O’Fallon, Missouri, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Linda was employed for over twenty years at the Lakin Law Firm where she worked as the bookkeeper. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bethalto. She was one of the original founding members of the Eagle Pride Athletic Booster Club for Civic Memorial High School in Bethalto during the early 1990’s. She loved to go to volleyball games and watching her granddaughter play. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Beth Wheatly and a brother: Vernon J. Michelmann. Due to the Covid – 19 restrictions, private services will be held with burial at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
