Linda Crist Graczyk Phelps

Wood River: Linda J. "Princess" Crist Graczyk Phelps, 73, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 11, 1948, the daughter of the late Garrell and Thelma (Baker) Crist. Survivors include her son: William Neal of Branson, Missouri, her daughter Toni Graczyk of Springfield, Missouri, three granddaughters, her companion: Russ Shives of Alton, her three sisters Jeanne (Jerry) Talkington, Elaine (Dewayne) McCall, Holly (Charles-deceased)Smith, three brothers Michael (Celia) Crist, Gary (Brenda) Downs, John (Janice-deceased) Crist, several nieces and nephews, Heather (her favorite), many cousins, friends, and her Godson Shawn Painter of Palmyra, Illinois. They share a birthday. Linda loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was the life of the party, rather she was jumping on the trampoline or singing karaokes on top the tables...(good times) She had a heart bigger than she was and always helping others.. She loved her neighbor "Aunt Ruby" & enjoyed their visits. Also her good friend Marlene, spending time with her. Her family was a world to her, she enjoyed going places having lunches and just visiting! She really enjoyed spending days at her sister Jeanne's house and joining them on family vacations and beach trips! She was the best Nana to Josiah, Kolby & Henley! She will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Randall Crist. In accordance with her wishes, no services were held. Burial was at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
