Linda J. Rhodes

Brighton: Linda J. Rhodes, 75, passed away at 6:31am on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at her residence. She was born on March 10, 1941, in Montclare, Illinois, the daughter of the late Robert and Loretta (Dugan) Astroth. She married Jack Rhodes on December 3, 1960, and he preceded her in death in 2006. Survivors include two daughters and a son in law: Patricia Rhodes of Brighton, Kristina and Matt Robb of Florissant, Missouri, two granddaughters: Courtney Robb, Taylor Robb, and one sister and brother in law: Cindy and Ken Fredericks of Fosterburg. She was formerly employed as a carrier at the East Alton Post Office. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held.
