Dorsey: Lloyd Wyman, 85, passed away at 11:26am on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Robings Manor in Brighton. He was born on December 18, 1932, in Brighton, Illinois, the son of the late Albert and Lena (Buckholtz) Wyman. He married the former Carol Ann Bagent and she preceded him in death on October 14, 2010. Survivors include three sons and two daughters in law: Larry Wyman of Bragg City, Missouri, Guy and Sanjuana Wyman of Houston, Texas, Dan and Betty Wyman of Dorsey, five grandchildren: Danielle Wyman and her companion: Kevin Marrow, Alex Petterson, Matthew Wyman, Leola Wyman, Chris Jones, six great grandchildren: Vincent, Athena, Nora, Katelyn, Jules, Jasmenn, one sister: Eileen Walz of Livingston, Illinois, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Lloyd was formerly employed at Owens – Illinois Glass Works in the shipping and receiving department. He was a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Bets Whitaker, Marie Medhurst, Carol Wyman, two brothers: Paul Wyman and Albert Wyman. In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 10am until time of funeral services at 12pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the chapel at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Pastor Tom Olney will officiate. Full military honors will be conducted by the Ritual Team of VFW Post 1308 of Alton at 10am. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
