Logan Fearn, 60, passed away at 6:12 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, with his family and friends at his side. He was born on November 28, 1965, in San Francisco, California, the son of the late Wally and Gloria (Staib) Fearn.

Logan married Amanda McCrite in 2004. They were married until 2019, and she survives.

He is survived by his daughter, Kaitlin Fearn of Alton; his son, Devon McBride; three grandchildren, Lovlee Rose, Devon Jr., and Damon; his aunt, Mary Gene (Ron) Snelson of Washington, Missouri; and other extended family and friends.

Logan is also survived by his longtime best friend, Tim Young. Both only sons, Logan and Tim, decided long ago that friendship simply wasn’t a big enough word for what they shared, so they considered each other brothers.

Logan was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Mariah Fearn. His first baby girl, whose passing on June 1, 2026, left him heartbroken. The loss of Mariah weighed deeply on Logan in the final months of his life, and those who loved him knew just how profoundly he missed her. He will also proceed in death by his parents, Wally and Gloria Fearn and his twin grandbabies, Eli and Jazzy Fearn.

A carpenter by trade, Logan was happiest working with his hands. He loved carpentry, remodeling, welding, and building motorcycles. Away from the shop and his projects, he also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting.

A celebration of Logan’s life will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
