Portage Des Sioux, Missouri: Lottie Frances Cleaver, 86, passed away at 7:53am on Friday, August 19, 2016, at Rosewood Care Center in Alton. She was born on July 9, 1930, in Brush Grove, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Calvin and Molly (Lewis) Humes. Survivors include one son and daughter in law: David Willey and his wife: Bonnie of Hartford, Kentucky, four daughters and their husbands: Sandra Diane and Donald Bragg of Boyne Falls, Michigan, Darlene Contreras of Boyne Falls, Michigan, Debbie Patton and her husband: Charles of Portage Des Sioux, Missouri, Anita Cleaver and her husband: John Horn of St. Louis, Missouri, thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren several great – great grandchildren, she loved them all. Additional survivors include two sisters and a brother in law: Anna Perley and her husband: Gordon of St. Louis, Alice Fairley and her husband: Earl of Sycamore, Illinois, three brothers and their wives: Calvin Humes Jr. and his wife: Sheila of Michigan, Eugene Humes and his wife: Terri of Nashville, Tennessee, and Sam Humes and his wife: Debbie of Arizona. A homemaker, she was a member of the Salvation Army. She was an avid gardener who liked her flowers. She enjoyed playing golf and the beauty of the outdoors. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson: David Willey, Jr., two sisters: Arlie Jewel O’Donnell, Bonnie Humes, and one brother: James Humes. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 11am until time of funeral services at 12pm on Monday, August 22, 2016, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Tim Rhodus will officiate. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials are suggested to the family.
