Mark G. Keenan, 66, passed away at 10:49pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 22, 1958, in Chicago, the son of the late Gerard P. and Jacqueline M. (Mentch) Keenan. He is survived by his wife Meryl (Snowdon) Keenan of thirty – seven years. Other survivors include three sons: Nick and Stephanie Keenan of Holiday Shores, Brad and Bethanie Keenan of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Anthony (Marissa St. Peters) Keenan of Holiday Shores, two granddaughters: Chloe and Adelyn, two sisters: Patti Keenan, Shelly (Mike Nolte) Keenan and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Mark was a regional manager at Rent A Center for seven years prior to owning and operating Colortyme for fifteen years in Alton. He loved fishing and hunting.

In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Following the visitation, cremation rites will be accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children and will be accepted at the funeral home.
