Mary Ann Lehr, 80, passed away at 3:24am on Saturday, November 2, 2013, in the emergency room at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 22, 1933, in Hardin, Illinois the daughter of the late John and Alice (Baalman) Geers. She married Irvin Lehr on April 11, 1953, in Kampsville, Illinois and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters and a son in law: Patty Lehr of Wood River, Beverly and Bob Hardy of Moro, one son and daughter in law: Kenny and Janelle Lehr Sr. of Fidelity, Illinois, six grandchildren: Amber Crouch and her husband: Chad, Sabrina McGee, Nate Tucker, Allyson Hardy, Lauren Hardy, Kenny Lehr Jr. and his companion: Brittany Mielke, and seven great grandchildren. A homemaker, she was a member of Holy Angels Parish in Wood River. She was a member of the Daughter's of Isabella and she enjoyed bowling at Bowl Haven. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Aiden Hardy. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River with a prayer service at 3:45pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Holy Angels Parish in Wood River. Father James Flach will be the celebrant.
