Mary Zinna

Wood River: Mary Zinna, 87, passed away at 6:30am on Friday, October 20, 2017, at her residence. She was born on October 17, 1930, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late William and Helen (Tighe) Steuber. She married William A. Zinna and he preceded her in death in October of 2007. Survivors include two daughters and sons in law: Cynthia Zinna and Fred Garcia of Wood River, Gina Schroeder and Robert Messier of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, two sons: Thomas Zinna of St. Louis, William J. Zinna of Wood River, a son in law: Dan Lauderdale of Venice, Florida, seven grandchildren, three great – grandchildren, one brother and sister in law: Tim and Joyce Steuber of Missouri, and many other extended family and friends. Mary was formerly employed at McGraw – Hill Book Company as a consultant. She enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Christine Brown and Betsy Lauderdale. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Private inurnment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation.
