Matthew Cruthis

Alton: Matthew A. Cruthis, 37, passed away at 6:15am on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at his residence. He was born on September 8, 1984, in Alton, the son of Alan and Marlene (Slaten) Cruthis. Matthew is survived by his father and step – mom: Alan and Cathy Cruthis of Englewood, Florida, his mother: Marlene Cruthis of Alton, his daughter: Mariah Cruthis of Alton, his paternal grandma: Evelyn Cruthis of Bethalto, a half brother: Spencer Alan Cruthis of Forreston, Illinois, his uncle: Stephen Robert Cruthis, and many other extended family and friends. Matthew was employed by BK Lawn Services. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa: Robert Cruthis and his maternal grandparents: Marlowe and Millie Slaten. In accordance with his wishes, private services were held with burial at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. Memorials are suggested to the family and will be used for his daughter, Mariah.
