Maureene Corinne Reed

Maureene Corinne Reed, 72, passed away at 3:46am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at her residence. She was born on September 3, 1949, in Thermopolis, Wyoming, the daughter of the late Jack and Corinne Ann (Uthoff) Lindell. She married Orville Reed in Nebraska City, Nebraska and he preceded her in death in 2012. Survivors include two daughters and a son in law: Margo Ann and Jason Woods of East Alton, Corina Ann Reed of Alton, her "boys" (nephews she cared for): Aiden Newell and Nova Newell both of East Alton, her siblings and their spouses: George and Carol Hill of Buckner, Illinois, John and AnnaMarie Lindell of Christopher, Illinois, Laurie and Ron Wilson of Benton, Kentucky, Joel Lindell of Greenville, Illinois, Rebecca and Michael Waters of Des Moines, Iowa, her brother in law: Rick Ducote of Dittmer, Missouri, and many nephews and nieces who are all loved very much! Maureene was a loving mother, a caring sister, and a loyal friend. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she devoted her time and energy for over 47 years to helping others through Bible study, most recently associating with the Metropolitan - Alton, IL, congregation of Jehovah Witnesses, and previously with the congregation in Nebraska City, Nebraska. In addition to her parents and her husband, Maureene was preceded in death by a sister: Kate Ducote.
