Megan E. Malloy

Rosewood Heights: Megan E. Malloy, 39, passed away at 7:58am on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at her residence. She was born on April 18, 1978, in Alton, the daughter of Rich and Vickie (Ford) McClintock Jr. of Rosewood Heights. She married Josh Malloy on May 26, 2001, in Alton, and they later divorced. In addition to her parents and her former husband, survivors include two daughters: Kayley Malloy of Godfrey, Logan Malloy of Godfrey, one sister: Molly McClintock of Rosewood Heights, one brother: Colin McClintock of Rosewood Heights, and her maternal grandma: June Ford of Godfrey. Megan was formerly employed as a department manager at Farm and Home in Alton for three years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and a St. Louis Blues fan. She loved dolphins and Mickey Mouse. She enjoyed going to concerts with her sister. She loved making crafts. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Robert (“Pawpaw Bob”) Ford, her paternal grandparents: Richard and Alice McClintock, and her beloved puppy: Blue. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Following the visitation, cremation rites will be accorded. Private family inurnment will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family in care of Molly McClintock and will be accepted at the funeral home.
