Melissa R. Starrett

Brighton: Melissa R. Starrett, 43, passed away at 8:50am on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her family while under the care of BJC Hospice. She was born on September 7, 1972, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Henry and Pam (Murphy) Starrett. Survivors include her father and step mother: Henry and Cindy Starrett of Robbins, Tennessee, her mother: Pam Seagraves of Muncie, Indiana, two daughters: Brittany Kidd of Muncie, Indiana, Jessica Tunnell of Brighton, Justus Tunnell of Brighton, Illinois, two brothers and a sister in law: Ray and April Starrett of Brighton, Henry Starrett of South Bend, Indiana, a step – sister and her husband: Becky and Jeremy Champ of Hartford City, Indiana, nephews and nieces: Andrew, Aaron, Derrik, Grace, Candace, Kelsi, Brandon, and Zachary. She was formerly employed at Fed Ex as a shuttle bus driver. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
