Melissa Lynn Waggoner

Godfrey: The woman. The myth. The legend. Melissa Lynn Hill Waggoner has moved on to her next adventure. She was promoted on March 27, encircled by her beloved family. Melissa was born February 23, 1959 in Alton,Illinois to Benjamin Robert and Bette Gilmour Hill. She was raised in a happy home on 10th St. in Wood River with her three siblings, Michael, Patrick and Melanie, and her first cousins right next-door. Her best times were spent in their backyards and at the Roxana Pool. Melissa has three children, Amber Keeney ( Doug ), Ben Waggoner ( Crystal ), and Ali Waggoner, four grandchildren, Mariah, Ricky, and Sophia Rodriguez, and Shawn Grizzle. She is also survived by two brothers: Mike (Connie ) Hill of Franklin, Indiana, Patrick (Vickie) Hill of Godfrey, one sister: Melanie Hill of Kansas City, Missouri, her sister in law: Phyllis Hill, a bevy of treasured cousins, fifteen nieces and nephews, 39 Barbies, and last but not least, her fur babies Scout, Petie, and Cali.
