Nancy A. Halley

Cottage Hills: Nancy A. Halley, 62, passed away at 7:35am on Friday, October 16, 2015, at her residence. She was born on March 15, 1953, in LaSalle, Illinois, the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Koziol) Skweres. She married Kenneth Halley on December 30, 1998, in Cottage Hills, and he survives. Other survivors include three sons and two daughters in law: Brian and Kim Kudela of Hancock, Wisconsin, Nathan and Diane Kudela of Milpitas, California, Kevin Kudela of Cottage Hills, eight grandchildren: Brittany Byers, Alyssa Byers, Ayden Kudela, Brittany Hubbard, Leila Kudela, Anthony Kudela, Sidney Kudela, Faith Kudela, one sister and brother in law: Dorothy and John Mayerchak of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, one brother and sister in law: George and Ginny Skweres of Gurnee, Illinois, and her beloved pets: Bella, Shep, and Trouble. She was formerly employed at Coventry Healthcare as a licensed practical nurse for over 10 years. She loved sewing, gardening, cooking, her family and her friends. She loved to ride on the motorcycle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Kathy Skweres. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to BJC Hospice of Alton or to the 5A’s.
