Nicholas "Nick" Troxell

Nicholas “Nick” Troxell, 43, passed away at 6:31pm on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in the emergency room at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 1, 1983, in St. Louis, the son of Patsy (Winters) Troxell of East Alton and the late Franklin Troxell. He is survived by his best friend and mother of his sons: Sarah Jo Adkins of Edwardsville, two sons and a daughter in law: Anthony and Madilyn Troxell of Collinsville, Evann Troxell of Edwardsville, a daughter: Mahala McClellan of Kampsville, an expectant granddaughter: Valencia, a sister and brother in law: Leslie and Matthew Martinez of Bethalto, a brother: Sean (Tara Johnisee) Troxell of Medora, his nephews and nieces: Joshua (Krysten)Martinez, Samantha Martinez, Jakob Martinez, Kalyn Troxell-Monaghan and Emmah Todaro.

Nick was a welder by trade.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
