Cottage Hills: Norma B. Redman, 87, passed away at 5:20am on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Burnsides Community Health Center in Marshall, Illinois. She was born on November 9, 1927, in Rosiclare, Illinois, the daughter of the late John and Charlotte (Calhoun) King. She married Ronald Redman on July 15, 1950, and he preceded her in death on December 28, 2002. Survivors include one daughter: Charlotte Macke of Marshall, Illinois, one son and daughter in law: David and Roxanne Redman of Cottage Hills, four grandchildren and their spouses: Erin and Nate Blacketer, Brian Macke, Mira and Jason Rust, Micah and Amber Redman, and six great grandchildren. She was formerly employed as a central service technician at Wood River Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Wood River. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. In celebration of her life, graveside services will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. Walter McCaslin will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church in Wood River where she was a member.
