Pauline H. Mcnealy

Cottage Hills: Pauline H. McNealy, 79, passed away at 1pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Springfield, Illinois, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on February 11, 1939, in Poag, Illinois, the daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Jackson) Copeland. She married Bobby J. McNealy on January 3, 1958, in Cottage Hills, and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2014. Survivors include three sons and daughters in law: Bobby Brian and Vicky McNealy of Hillsboro, Illinois, Christopher and Jenisha McNealy of Waterloo, Illinois, Rev. Matthew and Stephanie McNealy of Lawrenceville, Illinois, her grandchildren: Bobbie Jo, Ashley, Christina, Christopher, Zachary, Colleen, Ben, Mattie, Zoe, Shamus, Adeline, Finnegan, a great granddaughter: Olive, two sisters and a brother in law: Judy and her husband Pete of West Virginia, Margaret Jarvis of Winfield, Kansas, two brothers and sisters in law: Lonnie and Carol Copeland of Carpenter, Illinois, Tom and Pam Copeland of Pontiac, Illinois, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Pauline was formerly employed at Alton Square Mall for Hickory Farms. She then went to work for H & R Block for twenty – four years as a checker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Forest Homes. She loved her church and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She loved reading and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Mary, and a sister: Jean Sherry. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 9am until time of services at 11am on Monday, June 11, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Forest Homes. Pastor Rick Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodburn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church of Forest Homes.
