Ralph Ledesma

Godfrey: Ralph Ledesma, 79, passed away at 6:50am on Thursday, January 1, 2015, at his residence. He was born on June 10, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Luz and Loretta (Quiroz) Ledesma. He married the former Ellen Wood on March 16, 1966, in Belleville and she survives. Other survivors include one son and daughter in law: Scott and Liza Ledesma of Bethalto, two grandchildren: Tyler Ledesma, Monica Ledesma, two sisters and a brother in law: Eleanor and Carl Ijames of Sullivan, Missouri, Kathleen Ledesma of St. Louis, and one brother and sister in law: Eugene and Diane Ledesma of Hazelwood, Missouri. He was formerly employed for over 20 years at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in St. Louis where he worked in maintenance. Ralph and his wife are also member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. He loved working on landscaping and doing yard work. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of his life, memorial services will be held at the United Methodist Village in Godfrey at a later date.
