Randy L. Hobbs

Alton: Randy L. Hobbs, 50, passed away at 11:58pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Christian Hospital Northeast. He was born on March 24, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of George and Mary (Lehr) Hobbs of Alton. He married the former Monica Govero on November 4, 1995, in Wood River and she survives. In addition to his parents and his wife, he is survived by one son: Hunter of Alton, and his father in law and mother in law: Bill and Sharlyene Govero of Cottage Hills. He was employed as a spray painter for Avmats MidAmerica in Mascoutah. He was an avid weight lifter and Harley Davidson rider. He loved his family and enjoyed watching his son Hunter wrestle. In celebration of his life, memorial visitation for close family and friends will be held from 6pm until time of memorial services at 7pm on Monday, May 4, 2015, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River. Pastor Martin Schultz will officiate. Memorials are suggested for a scholarship for his son Hunter and will be accepted at the church.
