Randy Ray Stormer

Wood River: Randy Ray Stormer, 67, passed away at 7:55am on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at his residence. He was born on January 6, 1950, in Wood River, the son of Betty (Maynard) Stormer of Wood River and the late Ed Stormer. He married the former Rose Hackett on January 4, 1978, in Madison, Illinois, and she survives. Other survivors include three sons and a daughter in law: Ray and Angie Stormer of St. Charles, Missouri, Ryan Stormer of East Alton, Kyle Stormer of Colorado, one daughter: Jennifer Stormer of Colorado, three grandchildren: Nolan, Krystal, Andy, and one brother: Gerry Stormer of Wood River. Randy was formerly employed as an operator at Amoco for over 40 years prior to his retirement. He loved to go to the Wood River Library. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held. Memorials are suggested to the Wood River Public Library, 326 East Ferguson, Wood River, Illinois 62095.
