Reggie A. Chappell

Reggie A. Chappell, 62, passed away at 7:07pm on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Christian Northeast Hospital. He was born on July 7, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of the late George I. and Lois A. (Graham) Chappell. Survivors include his four brothers and sisters in law: Ivon and Valerie Chappell of East Alton, Rick and Regina Chappell of Fosterburg, Jerry and Sandra Chappell of Wood River, Donald and Alicia Chappell of Dorsey, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Reggie was a union laborer for over thirty – five years for the Laborer’s Local 338 in Wood River. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball, playing golf, and watching sports.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: John.

A celebration of life will be from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday, May 3, 2205, at the Laborer's Local 338 Hall, 47 East Ferguson Avenue, Wood River, Illinois, 62095.
