Rhonda Stegall

Roxana:

Rhonda Stegall, 61, passed away and went to be with the Lord at 10:46pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital. She was born on April 15, 1962, in Mount Vernon, Illinois, the daughter of the late Dean and Delores (Owens) Fite. She married Rob Stegall on June 19, 1982, in South Roxana, and he survives. Other survivors include two sons and a daughter in law: Keith and Bree Stegall of Moline, Illinois, Marcus Stegall of Roxana, three grandchildren: Kahlyn, Ezri, Averee, two sisters and a brother in law: Debbie King of South Roxana, Kathy and Tony Bazile of Katy, Texas, a brother and sister in law: Kevin and Melissa Fite of Rosemary Beach, Florida, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Rhonda was employed as a cook at Bethel Christian Academy in South Roxana prior to going to work at Central School where she was a playground monitor and office assistant. She attended Roxana Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra Stegall, and a grandbaby.

In celebration of her life, visitation be from 3pm to 7pm on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Visitation will continue from 9am until time of funeral services at 10am on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Roxana Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Rodney Durr will officiate. Burial will follow at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Roxana Church of the Nazarene for Community Outreach.
