Richard "Dale" Pruitt

Lebanon, Missouri: Richard “Dale” Pruitt, 88, passed away at 2:15pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri. He was born on September 19, 1929, in Richland, Missouri, the son of the late Clifford and Imo (Carroll) Pruitt. He married the former Jessie Mae Skinner in March of 1950 and she preceded him in death on December 25, 1970. Survivors include a daughter and son in law: Beverly and Steven Bishop of Girard, seven grandchildren, several great – grandchildren, one great – great grandchild, one brother: Bobby Glen Pruitt of Lebanon, Missouri, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Dale was employed as a truck driver for over forty years. In additions to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two sons: Roger Dale Pruitt, Rex David Pruitt, two sisters: Barbara Massey, Sharon Osbourne, two brothers: Cliff Pruitt, and James Pruitt. Cremation rites will be accorded. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Harper’s Ferry Cemetery in Palmer, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to the family.
