Richard Dale Raymond

East Alton:

Richard Dale Raymond, 87, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. He was born on December 24, 1937, in Alton, the son of the late Joy Klenke. He married the former Barbara Borman on June 3, 1960, in Wood River, and she preceded him in death on September 22, 2021. Survivors include two sons and their spouses: Michael (Lisa) Raymond of Wood River, Kevin (Jackie Davis) Raymond of St. Louis, three grandchildren: Cassi Stanton, Kayla Harrison, Andrew Raymond, six great grandchildren, and many other extended family and friends.

Rich formerly worked at Olin Brass and Ingersoll Rand before becoming the manager at The Winchester Club. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, mushroom hunting, boating, and spending time at his cabin on the river in Hardin and later in Nutwood.

In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
