Richard L. Wadlow

Bethalto: Richard L. Wadlow, 83, passed away at 7:53am on Monday, May 17, 2021, at University Nursing and Rehab. He was born on November 29, 1937, in St. Louis, the son of the late Elmer and Helen (Sanders) Wadlow. Survivors include a son and daughter in law: Richard and Jennifer Wadlow of St. Ann, Missouri, a step – son: Marty Fancher of Wappapello, Missouri, a step daughter and her husband: Tammy and Ken Kutscher of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, his longtime companion: Velma Sims of Bethalto, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Richard was employed at Monsanto for many years prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a Free Mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Debbie Wadlow, a step son: Danny Fancher, two sisters: Virginia and Betty, and one brother: Larry. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
