Montrose, South Dakota: Ross L. Moxey III, 52, passed away at 10:14pm on Friday, June 30, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was born on March 11, 1965, at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Illinois, the son of Ross L. and Linda (Schien) Moxey II. He met his wife in 2008 and married the former Deb (Peasley) Bracy on November 23, 2016, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and she survives. Other survivors include his mother and step - father: Linda and Kenny Summer of Girard, Illinois, his father: Ross L. Moxey II of Collinsville, Illinois, two step – sons and their wives: Adam and Dixie Bracy of Mandeville, Louisiana, Dusty and Rachel Bracy of Moville, Iowa, seven grandchildren, his siblings and their spouses: Betty Wilkinson of Girard, Kenny and Stephenie Summer of Girard, Michelle and Shad Bishop of Girard, Ricky Moxey of Alton, Dawn and her husband: Trent Bickett of Remington, Indiana, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other extended family and friends. Ross grew up in Nilwood, Illinois and graduated from Girard High School. Ross was employed as a herdsman at Gourley Premium Pork in Long Prairie, Minnesota. He loved camping, four wheeling, fishing, being outdoors, his television, and his computer. He loved being around his family and friends. He was preceded by a grandson: Brody Bracy In celebration of his life, a gathering will be held from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Split Rock Park in Garretson, South Dakota.
