Rosewood Heights: Sarah Lynn Walker, 34, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014, in Cottage Hills. She was born on December 17, 1979, in Alton the daughter of Jim and Debbie Walker of Rosewood Heights. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son: Tyler James Walker of Rosewood Heights, one sister and brother in law: Shana and Jason Lewis of Rosewood Heights, two brothers: Jeremie Sanders and his fiancé: Kandis Boden of Wood River, Jacob Walker of Rosewood Heights, her maternal grandfather: William Walker of Rosewood Heights, her maternal grandmother: Mary Walker of Cottage Hills, her paternal grandmother: Delores Walker of Wood River, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was formerly employed as a shift manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Wood River. She was of the Catholic Faith. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Savannah and her paternal grandfather: James Edward Walker. In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorials are suggested to the family.
