Sharon Allshouse

Sharon L. Allshouse, 66, passed away at 10:55am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 2, 1958, in Alton, the daughter of the late Donald and Lois (Plopper) Serge. She married Russell Allshouse on October 9, 1976, in Wood River, and he survives. Other survivors include four children, eleven grandchildren, and many other extended family and friends.

A homemaker, Sharon was very involved with the United to Revive Ministries and Legacy Revival. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved caring for others and was always uplifting them and helping others in need. Everyone that met Sharon thought that she was special and kind. She had a deep love for animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Tony Serge.

In celebration of her life visitation will be from 5pm until time of services at 7pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Stephen Battles will officiate.
