Wood River: Shelly R. Gessman, 66, passed away at 1:58am on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital. She was born on May 5, 1954, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Robert and Margie (Kennedy) Schulte. Survivors include a daughter: Amber Gessman of Wood River, a grandson: Garrett Gessman of Wood River, two sisters: Louise Thebeau of St. Louis, Carla Jackson of Wood River, and many other extended family and friends. Cremation rites will be accorded.
