Stacey Edwards Jackstadt, 55, passed away at 7:43pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital. She was born on June 29, 1967, at Travis Air Force Base, Vacaville, California, the daughter of Kathy and Joe Dugan of Wood River and Jim and Terri Edwards of Jerseyville. Survivors include a daughter and son in law: Madeline and Nicholas Petz of St. Louis, two sons: Luke Jackstadt of Collinsville, Simon Jackstadt of Collinsville, her longtime companion: Bobby Wild of Jerseyville, her siblings and their spouses: Scott and Marsha Edwards of Bunker Hill, Peter and Tara Dugan of Wood River, Jodie and Shane Trometer of Montgomery, Texas, Joshua Edwards of St. Louis, Marissa Edwards of St. Louis, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Stacey worked in education for over twenty – five years in Alton and Collinsville School Districts.

In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Refuge, 144 East Ferguson, Wood River, Illinois, 62095 or the charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted at the funeral home as well.
