Susan L. Anderson

South Roxana: Susan L. Anderson, 64, passed away at 9:10am on Friday, March 8, 2019, at her residence. She was born on November 6, 1954, in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Richard and Gwen (Hurd) Hunt. Survivors include a daughter: Jennifer Scheibe and her companion: Leetis Floyd of Wood River, a son: Jeremy Scheibe of O’Fallon, Missouri, seven grandchildren: Andre Anderson, Isabella Scheibe, Christian Floyd, Payton Floyd, Nathan Harrison, Alexander Scheibe, Ella Cordsiemon, her step mom: Linda Hunt of Hartford, her sister: Karen Barnwell of Wood River, two step brothers and their wives: Dennie and Anne Long of Morris, Illinois, Tim and Kathy Long of Granite City, and many other extended family and friends. Susan was employed for over fifteen years as the water clerk for the Village of South Roxana. In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorials are suggested to the 5A’s and will be accepted at the funeral home.
