Susan Gail Disalvo

Wood River: Susan Gail DiSalvo, 61, passed away at 1:30am on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at her residence. She was born on January 15, 1955, in Wood River, the daughter of the late Odie R. and Delores Jean (Conner) Hill. Survivors include three sisters and brothers in law: Nancy and Ron Martin of Wood River, Debbie and John Potter of Wood River, and Donna and Randy Karpan of Bethalto, her nieces and nephews: Kelli and Kevin Inman, Amy and Travis Zeller, Laurie and Drew Mortland, Emily Martin, Kimberly Potter, Katie and Andy Huff, Dustin Potter, Nikki Potter, Timothy Potter, Kristen and Tim Gusewelle, Justin Karpan, her great nieces and nephews: Evan Jensen, Austin Martin, Ezra Martin, Alexa Zeller, Bodhi Inman, Kimara Anderson, Joey Mortland, Ellie Gusewelle, Addison Huff, and her beloved cousin Mellie Hill. She formerly owned and operated a hair salon in California prior to returning to the Riverbend. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held. Memorials are suggested to BJC Hospice of Alton.
