Vivian Evans

Vivian R. Evans, 74, passed away at 7:31pm on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital. She was born on September 6, 1948, in Sikeston, Missouri, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Ruth (Thompson) Cole. She married Michael Evans on February 9, 1966, and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters and sons in law: Shawna and Jason Meni of Maryville, Heather and Steven Bloomquist of Mt. Olive, a son and daughter in law: Timothy and Melinda Evans of Alton, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Vivian was employed at Washington University in the information systems department prior to her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Shane Evans and a sister: Elaine Leroux.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
