Walter E. Baehler

Walter Eugene Baehler, 59, of East Alton, Illinois passed away in his home. Walter was born June 29, 1954, to Walter Charles Baehler and Mary Mayberry Baehler, both deceased. Walter is survived by his former wife, Grace (Tony) Woods of Athensville, Illinois along with their son, Bobby Baehler also of Athensville. Also surviving are his siblings, Charles (Lori) Mayberry of Effingham, Illinois, James Baehler of Wood River, Illinois, Mary Maple of Alton, Illinois, Michael (Anne) Baehler of Hartford, Illinois, Sharon Chapman of Greenfield, Illinois, John Baehler of Lawton, Oklahoma, Dale Baehler of Carrollton, Illinois, twelve nieces, four nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
