St. Louis, Missouri: Warren Wixford Draugelis (Doug), 91, passed at Barnes – Jewish Hospital on January 5, 2021. He was born February 21, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Peter and Delight (Sielemann) Draugelis. He is survived by his wife Marian “Mickie” Dyreks. Other survivors include five daughters: Cindy Manlove and her husband: Sonny of Troy, Missouri, Marilyn Dollinger of Troy, Missouri, Doris Runge and her husband: Bill of O’Fallon, Missouri, Gail Narsh and her companion, Joe Ahart of St. Charles, Missouri, and Christine Pogue of Roxana, Illinois. He was the grandfather of sixteen grandchildren, twenty - six great grandchildren, one great – great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister in law: Sister Joan Phyllis Dyreks of St. Louis, Missouri. Doug was employed as a Police Officer for the St. Louis County Police Department where he was stationed at St. Louis International Airport. He then went to work at Mallinckrodt in St. Louis, retired from Bi – State Transit, and then retired from Allied Barton as a security supervisor. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in St. Louis. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Paul Pogue, his son in law, Mark Dollinger, a grandson, Jordan Dupy, and his half – brother: Wayne Dapron. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the charity of your choice.
