Wendy Jean Gotthardt

East Alton: Wendy Jean Gotthardt, 62, passed away at 4:31pm on Friday, January 3, 2020, at her residence. She was born on August 29, 1957, in Lorain, Ohio, the daughter of the late William Joseph and Jean Rose Marie (Drxel) Schott. She married Craig Gotthardt on August 30, 1986, in St. Louis, and they later divorced. Survivors include two daughters: Kaitlyn Gotthardt of Godfrey, Brittany Gotthardt of Hawk Pointe, Missouri, three grandchildren: Wyatt, Waylon, Riley, two grand dogs: Luke and Kody, three sisters and brothers in law: Debbie and Tom Cafarella of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Sandra and Dennis Ferguson of St. Charles, Missouri, Connie and Al Karniski of Hazelwood, Missouri, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Wendy enjoyed photography and was a huge support in her daughter’s softball careers. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 3pm to 7pm, at her sister Sandy’s house, 1550 Mount Vernon Drive, St. Charles, Missouri 63303.
