William Boehm Sr.

William F. Boehm Sr., 83, passed away at 5:50pm on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Rosewood Care Center in Alton. He was born on April 15, 1931, in Alton, the son of the late Fred and Maureata (Corns) Boehm. He married the former Betty J. Dorsey on November 8, 1952, in Moro, Illinois and she survives. Other survivors include two sons and a daughter in law: William F. Boehm, Jr. of Fort Madison, Iowa, John and Patti Boehm of Advance, North Carolina, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. William’s career was in the paper recycling industry having worked for Alton Box Board and General Paper Stock. He retired from Central Paper Stock in St. Louis. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge #25 A.F. & A.M. He was a member of Moro Presbyterian Church. In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 10am until time of memorial services at 11am on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Moro Presbyterian Church. Rev. Marc Wendleton will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the Moro Presbyterian Church.
