William W. Rushing

East Alton: William W. Rushing, 48, passed away at 6:18pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. He was born on January 10, 1971, in Alton, the son of Gerald and Brenda (Berry) Rushing. He married Lori Ottwell on April 27, 1991, in Wood River, and she survives. Other survivors include one daughter: Katie Rushing of Roxana, a granddaughter: Kira Kimbro of Roxana, and his siblings. William was employed ay Spray Services in Washington, Missouri. He loved to ride his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother: Eddy Rushing. Cremation rites will be accorded. The family will hold a visitation from 11am until time of memorial services at 2pm on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Cornerstone Church in Bethalto. Pastor Dean Berry will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the family. Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River is in charge of cremation arrangements.
